Show Yourself Approved To God

2 Timothy 2: 15
If you want to please God, you need to understand His Word and use His Word.

2 Tim 2: 15, Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The first thing that you need to understand is that God Loves you. He loves everyone. And He only wants the best for you.

John 3: 16, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever Believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Second, God is a gentleman. He will not force Himself on you or push you to do anything you don't want to do. The people that love God, and live for God do it of their own will. They want to be the children of God because they know that God's way is the right way.

Romans 10: 8-11,
8. But what does it say? The Word is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word of faith, which we preach.
9. Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10. For with the heart a person believes and so is justified, and with the mouth he confesses and confirms (his) salvation.
11. The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.

Third, There are great blessings that come with being a child of God. God listens to and answers your prayers. He becomes an active part of your life leading you in everything that you do.

John 15: 6-8,
6. If a person does not dwell in me, he is thrown out as a [broken-off] branch and withers. Such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire and they are burned.
7. If you live in me and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask what ever you will and it shall be done for you.
8. When you bear much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified; and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.
